Fed’s Kaplan: Sees potential for a Fed rate cut at the Sept FOMC meeting

The Wall Street Journal reports the newest comments from the Dallas Fed (Fed) President Kaplan, as he says that he sees a possible for a Fed rate cut at the Sept FOMC meeting.

Supported the central bank's move to chop its benchmark rate by a quarter-point last month.

Open to another reduction within the months ahead.
